The fabric is a newly developed denim with a 7.2-count yarn for the warp and a 7-count yarn for the weft. Later riders' models used left twill denim, but before the 1940s, right twill was used, and the denim for this jacket also uses the right twill. In addition, special indigo is used so that the bluish color fading characteristic of cowboy pants can be expected. Since this jacket is a World War II model, it uses general-purpose buttons (laurel donut) compared to older models and has also changed from triple stitching to double stitching, and the shape of the chest pocket flap has been changed to a rounded shape to improve work efficiency. And there is one more unique feature of this model. The buckle was originally attached to the back of the jacket, but this has also been dropped. However, the rivets used to secure the buckle remain in place, a unique detail.
