15.5oz SLUB-NEP DENIM RELAX FIT BUTTON FLY
- Featuring a deep rise, relaxed thigh fit, and a tapered cut from below the knee to the hem, these jeans offer a relaxed yet classy silhouette. Inspired by tailored trousers, the pattern design is based on the human body’s anatomy, achieving both a comfortable fit and a refined silhouette. The fabric features long slub yarn with a strong unevenness for the warp, and neps yarn made from recycled cotton lint for the weft. It is dyed using 100% pure indigo and traditional rope-dyeing techniques. While the surface of the yarn is dyed blue, the core remains white; this “white core” contrast creates a beautiful color aging as the jeans are worn. Weaving is performed on “Toyoda Power Looms,” considered the forerunners of Japanese denim looms. The warp yarn is woven with extremely low tension to achieve a unique, rough texture.
